I’ve owned about 7-8 pairs of these Finn Comfort shoes over the years and I keep buying them. I wear them pretty much around the house as slippers, so they’re worn every day for at least 5-6 hours. They’re very supportive with interchangeable insoles that can be replaced. The insoles tend to wear out before the shoes do. The insoles are a little stiff at first but soften up with wear. The shoes are made with a thick, soft leather that molds to the feet quickly. They’re lined With soft leather as well, which makes them pretty comfortable without socks. In my experience, the shoes last about 2-3 years given my wear. The shoes are expensive for sure. Many people might not consider them worth the cost. For me, I need a comfortable supportive shoe to wear at home as I don’t ever walk barefoot or in just socks. That’s not healthy for the feet as you get older. These shoes are the perfect answer for me.As an aside, the shoes can be recrafted by Finn Comfort, which I’ve had done to one pair. In my opinion, it was not worth it as the recrafting is about $150 or more, which is just about the cost of a new pair. I would just buy a new pair as opposed to paying to renew the old ones. They make them look nice enough and can put new soles and insoles on them, but the leather upper cannot really be returned to its original structure. I got an extra year and a half out of my pair after having them renewed, but I would have gotten double that with a brand new pair.
